Ski Iraq: estimated winter of 2016-17. I served in Iraq from 2006-07. A mixed group of Operation Iraqi Freedom Veterans and professional winter athletes will attempt a first winter ski ascent and descent of Mt. Halgurd, the highest mountain in the Kurdish Autonomous Region of Iraq in the Zagros Mountain Range. Our primary non-profit partner will be TentEd, working to support education efforts in the refugee community. We will also partner with Mt. Halgurd National Park to promote the importance of Global Conservation.

Climb Angola: In 2015, in partnership with Alex Honnold and the Honnold Foundation, we returned to Angola where I served with The HALO Trust conducting land mine clearance during parts of 2004-05. Thanks to support from The North Face and Vice Sports, we were able to document the experience.

Overland Bosnia: estimated summer of 2018. I served in Sarajevo in the fall and winter of 2003-2004. We are planning an overland multi-sport expedition in the summer of 2018. We are working to identify an appropriate non-profit partner to support conservation and an organization working to understand, remember, and prevent genocide.
